Sehwag's Double Century led India to victory and series win over West Indies

An outstanding batting by Virender Sehwag allowed the home team to get a victory of 153 runs over West Indies. Sehwag alone made 219,making him the 2nd player and also the 2nd Indian player to reach this milestone after Sachin. However he has become the highest scorer in ODI history. His batting helped the Indian team to create a huge score of 418. This happens to be the highest score made by Indian team in ODI. Other two batsman supporting the team for this feat were Gambhir and Raina who each made 67 and 55 respectively. It took Sehwag 140 balls in total to complete his double century. Sehwag hit 25 fours and 7 sixes before being dismissed at 219 in the 47th over.
Performance of Indies were not so satisfying considering the fact that they were following a huge target. After losing some valuable wickets, West Indies decided to bat out time making the game little slow. May be they too became certain about their loss. With this game won by the home team, now India have closed the series 3-1 with only 1 game remaining.
