Australia v/s India-2nd Test(Day 1):Australia on Top

     The 2nd test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between Australia and India began today at Sydney stadium. India won the toss and chose to bat first. India's poor performance continued at the 2nd test as India lost their openers early in the match. The credit goes to Australian bowling. Pattinson proved to be potent as he opened the session with 4 wickets. Siddle and Hilfenhaus also continued their form taking 3 wickets each. India's score came to end at 191. No remarkable partnership was seen today in Indian batting. Also most of the batsman lost wickets cheaply. Despite attempts of Tendulkar and Dhoni, Indian team were unable to create a good lead in the match.

     At the end of 1st day, Australian team is batting. They too had hard times as Zaheer stroke early taking 3 important wicket of the Aussies. But Clarke and Ponting batted sensibly and to Indian bowlers frustration created a good partnership. Both of them are still batting till the end of day 1.
