India on a verge of whitewash by Aussies-Australia v/s India 4th Test

The last test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and India are still unable to get back their rhythm. 1st day of the 4th Test match began fairly for Indian team as they took 3 of the important wickets for just 84 runs, but as soon as Ponting and Clarke stepped into the crease the Indian bowlers began struggling. Indian bowlers  were battered by the dynamic duo from Australian team.  Ponting and Clarke played extravagantly throughout the day and each of them successfully made century while both of them are still not out, which means Indian team will be having hard time on 2nd day as well. Considering how the Indian batsman had continued their poor performance throughout this series, the Indian team are on a verge of being whitewashed.

Indian team have been hoping to win this last match as a consolation as they have already lost the series 3-0 to the home team, but even that seems to be slipping away from them.
4th Test match summary:-
1st Innings:
Australia:    335/3
                      Batting: Clarke 140*, Ponting 137*
                      Bowling: Ashwin 2-81
