Australia take a lead in finals over Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka secured their position in finals against Australia after being ahead of India in points table. The 1st match in the finals took place today in Brisbane. The match went in favor of Australia. Australia defeated Sri Lanka by mere 15 runs in a nervous chase.

Australia batted first and set up a score of 321 runs. The Australian Innings was supported by the century from David Warner. He alone made 164 runs for the Aussies. 
The chase of 322 runs was not easy for the Lankans but they some how managed to cross the mark of 300. At the end they could only manage 306 runs giving the 1st victory to Aussies in the finals. Australia now leads this 3 match finals by 1-0 over Sri Lanka.

The next final will take place at Adelaide in March 6.
