Sri Lanka's biggest loss ever- South Africa v/s Sri Lanka 1st ODI

No one would have expected that the mighty Sri Lanka would subside to a tiny total of just 43 runs. It was 1st ODI between South Africa and Sri Lanka at Paarl, the home team won the toss and chose to bat first. The amazing play by Hasim Amla, who scored a century, along with Kallis and De Villiers, helped the South African team to create a total of 301.
Sri Lanka, who had to score 302 for victory, however, were limited to a total of 43. This was their lowest ODI total and the third largest defeat (i.e.  258 run defeat). The Sri Lankan team had 4 duck outs and except Kulsekara no other member even reached double figures. The highest run made by Kulsekara was also only 19. Morkel and Tsotobe did great job demolishing the Sri Lankan batting line up.
