Australia easily beaten by Sri Lanka in a match affected by rain

The match affected by rain was a struggle for both team but Sri Lanka triumphed over Australia with some marvelous bowling. The match was delayed due to rain and thus the match size was reduced to 41 overs per side. Ponting's decision to bat first back fired when Australian scoreboard fell for just 158.

Australian batsman had a terrible performance. This was one of the lowest score created by the Australian team. Except David Hussey, non of the other players from Australian side made considerable score.Sri Lankan bowlers were disciplined with the bowl and they took wickets while keeping the runs minimized.
