Unbelievable Victory over Sri Lanka keeps hope alive for India

Indian team put all their efforts in winning today's match and to keep their hope alive for moving onto finals. India is currently tied in points with Sri Lanka. Their place at finals will depend on the outcome of the last match between Australia and Sri Lanka that will take place in March 2, 2012 at Melbourne.
Kohli and Raina after victory

When the century from Dilshan and Sangakkara allowed Sri Lanka to create a huge score of 320 runs, even Indian fans might have had doubt about getting the victory; considering their last performances. But an awe inspiring performance from Indian team cleared those doubts. Clearly, it is one of their best performance in recent times.

The major credit for this victory goes to Virat Kohli who has been outstanding in his performance this series. Unlike other matches, he was well supported by other members of the team as well. India caught up quickly to the target with the help of some destructive batting from Kohli. Their run rate was clearly over the required run rate and thus they got their victory in just 36.4 Overs.
